Frequently it seems like there is no way out from the downward spiral of credit concerns. There can be closed bank accounts after a series of returned checks, a repossession of the important family vehicle, closed credit cards after running them up over the limit--all of these things not only make the family budget a disaster, but also bring about low self esteem, and can also lead to family concerns and friction.

It is important in bank card offers that advertise for poor credit customers, that you see all of the fine print stating exactly how much credit limit you are initially afforded. Some may state that your initial limit is $500 but in reality, after they have applied their one time processing fees of upwards to $150, acquisition fees of $85, and other fees, you frequently don't have more than $50 credit limit to begin with but you are now in debt by about $450 and that's before paying any interest back either!!
........and with most of the cash advances you are hopelessly in debt for several months, simply trying to pay back a $300 loan. These companies know that you can't possibly pay back the full amount when it becomes due. That's why they make it so easy to renew with just the interest amount. They wait for several weeks to require you to pay back some of the principal with your interest because they can frequently have covered the entire loan amount by that time so all they collect from then on out is pure, escalating profit. They can provide a service but do your best to pay them back IN FULL promptly.
Need a new computer but can't buy one with cash? There are a lot of firms on the internet that provide financing for computers, too, but again, check these companies out. Go to the BBB Online to see if you can get a free report on these companies and see the number of complaints and how they responded to them. Note: any company that does a large volume of sales will get complaints---It's just impossible to please everyone and people do make mistakes. But the important thing is to see how promptly and fairly these companies responded to these complaints!
